Kyle & Emily are engaged!

Emily, Kyle and I have been planning on taking couples portraits for a while now (since summer). And of course, life got busy and we just never got around to setting a day where all our schedules could meet at the same time. So just recently Emily contacted me saying that Kyle really wanted to take some portraits-- that he would be in town for the weekend before he had to go back to Tennessee. So I asked her if there was any special place that meant something special for them and she responded, "Ok, Kyle says the ice rink." Alright! THe ice rink it is! and it was planned. I got a text message that very night(before the shoot), and Emily texted me saying, "Well, I guess tomorrow you will be taking engagement photos!"

Needless to say, Kyle was slick, had it all planned since the beginning, and I got to say...it was so much fun! Not to mention the 40 degree weather in the end of December. Bright and sunny. What else was I asking for?! Oh yea--A HOT COUPLE: check, check, and CHECK!

Motherly Love

Meet my Mom guys!
Renee Clay! She is absolutely the most hard working woman I have ever met in my life and I am so blessed by her. She is one beautiful woman inside and out. Oh, and something TOTALLY COOL--she has a Mcaw at home and her name is May :)

For those who don't know what a Mcaw looks like....



I mean, not only does this bird look BEASTLY...but she talks it too!



Anyways! Back to my mom :)

Catching up....feels good to say that :D

I admit, I have been a slacker! BUT--no worries, I'm here to post not one, not two, but THREE more shoots that I am very excited to share with you all.

And the first one goes out to my girl Libby who is an incredible, sweet, and creative woman. You'll be able to tell just by observing!
